Born and Bred in the South West Slopes, Dean has been passionate about merinos and the land from as early as he can remember. Kambah Poll Merino Stud is located on his property near Jugiong, NSW, with partner Mandy and two boys. Dean and Mandy are sole owner operators of the farm which is has the capacity to breed high quality rams.
Dean and Mandy have always been passionate about wool production and sheep breeding, have never been ones to shy from hard work, Dean being a shearer to farmer and building and running his own Livestock Marketing business and Mandy a Woolclasser to working in wool stores to building her own health and fitness business.
Kambah Poll Merino Stud is a natural evolution for Dean and Mandy, whose roots lie in wool production and sheep breeding.
Being in the livestock industry all his life, Dean has a strong knowledge and the skills to move Kambah Merino Stud to greater heights.

ABOUT KAMBAH
Kambah Poll Merinos was a life long passion of Glen Oxford of Young since 2000. We took over the business late November 2022 and are thankful for the opportunity to become Kambah's new owners. We aim to bring a fresh new energy and passion to Kambah, breeding more high indexing, profitable balanced rams, which on our property located near Jugiong, has the capacity to support. The direction of Kambah will be on a similar trajectory, we are passionate about merinos and breeding and are capable to move with the Industry that has changed greatly over the years to data collection and statistics for genetic selection. Kambah rams are mules free, fine micron, high performing, which thank you to Glen with his forward thinking and hard work Kambah is already in the top end of indexing figures, which we aim to increase as we strive for excellence.
